After School Activities Program
ASAP embraces multilevel learning with programs and activities that include; Arts & Crafts, Photography, Creative Writing, Dance, Drama, Physical Fitness, Cooking, Coding, and more. Programs that nurture cognitive development, improve critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making while developing student’s social and personal competencies. ASAP offers positive alternatives which occupy student’s downtime and decrease youth involvement in delinquent behavior. ASAP fosters student’s imaginations and judgment and improves their attitudes about themselves.
Arte Saturday Academy
A youth academy to stimulate the brains of young people to encounter themselves through exploration of the arts, culture, and leadership development. Courses and activities related to the arts, dance, music, drama, traditions and culture. Talks on language arts, poetry, and prose to cultivate a love of language. ASA develops students’ skills in arts, movement, instrumental performance, communication, and critical thinking. ASA aims to equip students with skills to become the next generation of artists, thinkers, and leaders.

Socialization & Learning Adventures, Through Education
“All Kids Start with a Clean Slate!”
Effective at engaging students and teaching them important life and social skills. Students start to think about their futures and begin to set goals. SLATE prepares students for success in high school, college and beyond, through a project based curriculum that exposes them to new experiences, ideas, and environments. Curriculum includes; Social Skills, Dining and Etiquette, Health & Wellness, Personal Finance, Mock Job Interviews, Self-Defense, College Visits, Fire Safety, CPR, College Readiness, Cultural Awareness, and much more. Students learn to respect themselves and others and graduate with concrete skills and knowledge they will use for a lifetime.
College Bound Road Trips
Turning Kids on to College
ARTE escorts groups of middle school students to college and university campuses. Students tour the campus, meet with college students, hear from the admissions office and eat lunch on campus. Students discover college life and for the first time envision college as a possibility.

Family Arts & Science Workshops
Fun-Filled Family workshops exploring art & science. Families participate in a variety of concurrent hands-on workshops led by Yale students. Families participate in group activities and create a take-home art project. This is truly a fun, educational and interactive day that brings families together.
Exhibits & Events
ARTE has curated numerous educational and cultural exhibits and events including: Aqui Me Quedo”, “Tobacco, Cane & Coffee”, “Heroes & Icons”, “Progreso Latino”, “Masks & Santos”, “Coquito Contests”, “Sheep Sheering & Wool Spinning”, “Noche Bohemia”, “Coffee Lectures & Tastings”, “Santos Carving, Mask Making, Cooking Demos, Flamenco Presentation, Lectures, Workshops, Art Exhibits, and hosting the annual NHPS student art exhibit.
